Born, raised upon a
one hundred sixty acre farm
Gregarious, dressed with grace and charm.
Father, mother worked hard to till the land
While he was with silver spoon in hand.
Brothers rode the tractor
But this did not factor
Into the life of the little boy
Whose childhood was pure joy.
Dressed in the best of children’s suits
for school and play
Did not frolic upon the stack of hay
Given the elegant things of life
Played on large stuffed tiger, free of strife
A fairy tale on a country road
Loved his little pony as he rode.
