Another day is lost to night
We are without the sun yet again
Spring falls dead to autumn
Death creeps upon life

Lost in a dark abyss now
In a world that’s so cold and lonely
Lurking in the darkness
Evil roams freely

No hope of light or goodness
Where is the Messiah you speak of
When will salvation come
When does that day come

The wait is to be over
The much awaited day will come soon
When the day is all clear
With nothing to fear
