Something about you, that draws me near
Wonder where these feelings arise
There are times, I’ve come to fear
Its just too much for me to hide
I try not to pry the reason
My hearts crying out for you
When my minds telling me
It can’t be true
I’ve fallen before, it hurt so bad
I’ve lost feeling, being out in the rain
Now I’ve got a glimpse of the sun
Feeling the warmth, wishing it’ll stay
Seems as though clouds are on the way
Looking for what’s left of the sands of time
Where I’ve stood for what seems an eternity
Soon the ground I stand on
Will be bare
As I’ve endured, for so long
I’m damp with emotions
For a moments breath
Now dry of feelings
Gasping for some blessed air
