A deadly vendatta

Contributed by deusdeira on Wednesday, 25th May 2011 @ 01:24:13 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I run into the storm,
and there I am smothered,
my legs start to weaken,
the cold makes me shudder,

Your voice it grows faint…
While my heart… it grows harder,
My flame… it gets snuffed…
Deep inside it grows darker,

The light cannot reach,
Where my prison is hiding,
Absorbed in my thoughts,
While my lover lays dying,

So harsh …yet unreal,
My thoughts have one goal,
Return what is lost,
A deep chasm… death’s toll,

I reach through the pain,
To grasp at your hand,
As I watch all your dreams,
Blow away in the sand,

I’ll avenge you my love,
Death cannot hide his face,
I will find you my love,
I will give death a taste,
of the pain I’ve endured…

he’ll never find peace,
My blood debt runs true,
There’s nowhere to hide,
Death…I’m coming for you!

this deserved a comment long ago....loss can be so devastating ..... and to have someone ripped from you as in the way you describe....you've captured your pain and handed it to me to hold for a moment....once again.....brilliant!!
