True Self

I have awoken to reality
I was blind, now I see
All is a reflection of me
Things got done, before I saw
Who am I? Is my word Law?
Observe, rejoicing in awe
The true effort is effortless
The thinking mind, it causes a mess
Confusion spanning across the ages
Wisdom spoken by the sages
Can you be, and not just hear?
True to yourself, yet still lend an ear

Self reflection is expressed with well thought out words. Makes the reader to ponder as well. A nice read. |
