The Death Of An Undertaker

Grief
|
Every day brings fresh grief and heartache to his door,
Guilt-driven demons in his head he has tried to ignore,
He’ll tell them all that everything’s going to be alright,
That the loved one they’re burying will be waiting in the light,
He’ll take their money, drenched with tears,
Drink away the pain he’s seen for so many years,
Another day, another customer to console,
Another day, another hole in his soul,
But tomorrow will be different, no tears will be shed,
As tomorrow, the undertaker will be lowered to his death bed.
