Floating in a sea of clouds
Seeds of never ending joy
Descending gently into the
soul of a person.
A smile enters into the soul
Happiness, fulfillment completes
his meaning in life.
Lowering to the earth with an umbrella
Showers of gloom cover
but do not touch him
Music moves him to singing without a care
Drums beat, slowly come into
his ears and mind
All is not lost
A voice beckons him to come
to the river of life.
Candles burn as he carries them
to light the evening sky.
A guitar plays soothing, gentle strings
At the end of the day
he says he knows where he is.
The path to his place
The sands, oceans to his destination
Goals, dreams, aspirations fulfilled:
He’s home.
