Here's hoping and here's wishing,
And here's to picking up the pieces of my life again,
Here's the bag in which you packed up the remnants of our love,
And here's to the slamming door,
And the loneliness I now wallow in.
Here's to nothing and here's to everything,
Here's to the Lions and the Wolves,
And my ragged fingernails that now find themselves clawing at the walls
Here's to the wailing and the crying,
And the secrets and the whispers of "I love you" we keep locked in the chambers of our heart.
Here's to your lips that once kissed mine,
And here's to the monster and the deceiver that I've become,
Here's to good ol' London bridge,
And the raging seven seas,
And here's to you and here's to me,
And here's to the boatman's curse,
And to the lost ones,
And the ones who were never meant to be.
