This may seem a big ask
My looks are not the best
My acne takes over my past beauty
And you despise the way I dress.
I am low and very insecure
And in the teardrops it shows
Written across all types of paper
Upon the blood stained clothes.
I wish I was so skinny
Delicate, petite
I wish to be all of these
Though I never want to be weak.
I just want to be gorgeous
Sounds silly, I want to be hot
I want to be the girl that痴 look at
and nobody can keep their hands off.
I weep to wake up in the morning
And be proud of what I see
To be happy with my appearance
And know that you love me.
You love me because I知 beautiful
You love my gorgeous eyes
You love the way, I act, I dress
It痴 a shame all this would be lies.
I値l never be beautiful enough for anyone
I値l forever be beauty depleted
I知 sorry I知 outrageous
I just want to be needed.

| There is a poem I wrote awhile back... it's my favorite of all my writes. It's unrequited love.... it's about always trying and never being enough to have the love I gave returned to me. I tried so hard yet all I did was fail. It takes time and it takes strength, but true beauty is not what is on the outside. Visible beauty is temporary, inner is forever. Learn to be happy in your own skin. Wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful... It doesn't sound like much, but sometimes hearing it just helps. I know these feelings well, but I also know that some things are out of my control. Do what you can and let everything else go, and just trust that fate will take its course. Everyone wants to be wanted, even me. I just have faith that it will happen for me when the time is right. I'm 19 and just trying to find my way in the world like everyone else.... This poem shows me you hold a beauty inside of you. Never let it falter. Hugs. Thanks for sharing this poem. |

| Perhaps if you had beauty like you wanted you'd be cruel, shallow. Sometimes the things we lack are our saving grace. Many poor people want to be rich, perhaps if they were rich they'd be tyrannous with their wealth. The weak want to be strong, maybe they'd be oprressive with their strength. |
