When the last of the frost gives way to a new beginning
The earth wakes up to a lively chirpy singing
In the gentle breeze you sway and dance in gleeful pairs
Or huddle together in profuse masses
Seldom seen alone
Lilting in the lazy drone
Peeping over fences;
Thawing the viewer’s frozen senses.
Smiling little suns, adorn the spring in nature’s glamour
Gilding the meadows, paving the way to a colourful summer
Dancing daffodils high in season
For the eyes and souls tedious you are a pleasing vision
