Love At First Sight

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

OUR EYES CONNECTED THAT HOT SUMMER NIGHT
AND WE KNEW IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.
THE ODDS WERE AGAINST US AND FRIENDS WERE IN DOUBT.
THEY CALLED IT PUPPY LOVE AND IT WOULDN’T LAST.
IT WOULD SOON BE A THING OF THE PAST.
I MOVED AWAY AND MY HEART WAS BROKEN
I HAD LOST THE LOVE OF MY LIFE
I KNEW I COULDN’T GO ON.
ALL I COULD DO AND CRY AN MOAN.
THEN SOME TWENTY YEARS LATER
OUR EYES MET AGAIN
T WAS TRULY LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
WE VOWED TO EACH OTHER TO NEVER BE APART AGAIN
WHAT GOD HAD BROUGHT TOGETHER THRU TIME,
LET NO MAN BREAK APART.
I AM YOURS AND YOU ARE MINE
TOGETHER WE WILL BE THRU ETERNITY.
