Change is life.
A tiny leaf sprouts its head on a wired, lifeless branch.
A ray of light enlightens the earth, and dissolves her wild, cold trance.
The white melts; warmth spreads, from root to bloom;
Change banishes the gloom.
Change is a relief.
Clouds spray life on the parched earth and quench her thirst.
Hope glistens in his eyes, as his lifeless land is reborn, enduring through the worst.
Fear dissolves, the earth calms; monsoons bring in relief.
Change vanishes grief.
Change is something new.
ipod replaces mom's bedtime stories.
Flats are thrown away, their place is taken by high heels.
Trendy hair styles encroach; the cute, careless ponytail dies;
Change brings in a lot of goodbyes.
Change is love.
Every day seems fresh, every moment new.
Mirth is in the air, miracles happen to you.
The heart beats faster, so much is said in just a glance;
Change sure leaves you in a trance!
Change brings in heartaches.
Every moment feels heavy, every passing second becomes difficult to endure
Your love was true; your feelings, pure
But wounded, you were without a valid reason
Change sometimes brings in a truly dark season.
Change is UNBELIEVABLE!
You are happy now, the very next moment you feel sad.
You feel weird, like you are going mad!
Can memories just dissolve? Can friendship just fade away?
Change sure makes you want to leave everything and just walk away.
Change is unfair; it's intense.
It's beautiful, it fills you with love; it's ugly, it blurs your pretense.
It makes you wonder how life could be so marvelous; it makes you wonder how life could get so heartless.
It makes us love it, it makes us hate it; but if we try to ignore it, life sure seems ruthless.
