Did I see

Contributed by nonefound on Wednesday, 4th May 2011 @ 06:38:58 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Stare and think
Fathom the words
You wish to say
Aura, colour bright
Purple fairy leaves
You transfixed,stare
Stop your steps

Yet unseen she goes
Left with a feeling
Puzzlement
Deer and dove
Fairies and gnomes
Human folk left to frown
Did they glimpse?

Or was she there?
Walking in the forest
Deep in thought
Breezes blow
Leaves, swirl
Perfume fills the air

Purple fairy and friends
Busy with fairy things
People and fairies mix
Rarely get a glimpse
Busy in thoughts
Of our own things.

I like this one not only for my love of lore and mysticism.
I think you did well with painting the picture.
And I find it interesting that it is so forward that I had to read it twice to appreciate the subtleties.
