So what do we think?

Topic: oops

Forgive this write I only had a second to be on but I wanted to post.
I will edit another time lol. I would love to hear what everyone thinks about the subject as long as we can
be polite and not have a feud over the subject matter.

In recent events the news did say
Osama Bin Laden has passed away
or should I say shot in the head
by Americans now he is dead.

Do I really believe it is true,
many long hours of pondering I do.
Do I believe the events leading up...
were what they really appeared
or all made up?

What do we think when there have been endless lies
do I join in celebration in anothers demise?
No I do not think I will though he was accused
Im not at all certain it was he who abused.....

What do we think?
Jump up and down, or in quiet remembrance
remember those fallen?
Pray for piece and our men and woman to come home
after all there is no more excuse for this war to go on.

Yes what do I think? I really do not know
what do you think? Are you as confused as I?

you know this flow is so good and thought provoking because it was kinda strange watching people celebrating the news of his departure.Morbidly I danced too but even though I wanted him to pay It left me feeling kinda strange celebrating a death. And will we ever know the whole story.....

Hi Michelelle!
You got a good point with this fine poem . A Rev. Father felt the same way when he critizised the youngsters celebrating the death. of Bin Laden. However it is the perspective that matters.
Let us see rather the celebration of preserved lives of the many who would have perished had he lived. and brought his plans to fruition. Divine justice.
Life was preserved, let us celebrate it.
Thanks for sharing ths poignant poem.

Love and peace
Elizabeth.
