Freedom

Contributed by twistedtaurus on Sunday, 1st May 2011 @ 09:36:31 PM in AEST
Topic: war

Yeah
We got him
Were so happy this day
Never to forget all the dismay

We smile and cheer
Yet we still
Live in fear

He is gone
His beliefs live on
Those people
They are all so wrong

Freedom
It is our way
We didn’t start it
But we keep it this way

If you want
Oppression
Leave us alone
Keep those beliefs
In your , home

Our freedom
Is sacred
As you can see
Come messing with us
You’ll cease to be

Great work. No words can describe how good it is to have found and killed that man.
My favorite line is "we smile and cheer, yet we still live in fear" because it's so true.

A big cheer also from the UK. Well expressed poetry, you make a good point in saying that he may be gone but we still fear what is to come. Nice work.

sorry, but triumphalism is exactly what gets us into these stupid situations. Enjoy this day with the pantomime baddy because there are millions of those lunatics ready to replace him (he was probably replaced years ago) . As for freedom? Guess who financed him in the first place? USA USA, I believe. You created the monster and now you rejoice in his downfall. A lot of people should be very ashamed of themselves- or, maybe I'm wrong.
