I saw the most beautiful girl in the world today.
It was only for a brief moment, but it felt like an eternity.
Her eyes held me captive. Like the gaze of Medusa, she turned me to stone.
I was powerless.
Time slammed to a halt in a lapse of reality.
My heart beat as wildly as the raindrops clinging to her jet-black hair.
All I could do was stare.
I wanted to talk to her. To KNOW her.
What lay beneath her perfect skin?
What is the story in her eyes saying?
Is she happy?
Hurting?
Neither?
It was during this moment when it happened.
I fell instantly in love with her.
I was hers.
I wanted to tell her, to tell the whole world.
But then she was gone.
