A Young Woman

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Tuesday, 26th April 2011 @ 12:26:47 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

A young woman has many thoughts in mind
Who to befriend, how to behave, and perhaps how to look
Elegance is revealed within every curl of her brunette mane
And sophistication in her charming stride
Yet there is one element missing
And by all means she knows it very well

Handsome gentlemen give here the eye
Waiting to be fallen for at the same time
But this maiden treats them as mere passers-by
After all what true affection have they ever shown her
It is true the grasp of a fair hand is thoughtful
Still the thoughtfulness of a true lover is appreciated more

And so miss independent is contemplating her disposition
A free and single woman is not hurt yet is not adored
By a faithful lover who is worth fighting for
Perhaps the reluctant heart she hold will be placed in good hands
Yet there is no way to find out unless she goes through with her plans

so, did she finally go for the boob job, or not?

Can't even pretend to know what goes through the mind of a woman, especially a young one. These days, it's false tan and har extensions all around.

You make me laugh. I meant what goes on in the mind of a sophisticated and mature young woman. Otherwise, you'd be correct
