I know where I'm from, I know what I do
There are always people hatin' on the 802.
Always disrespecting, underestimating
I got info for you to start absorbing.
I bet you didn't know most of this exist
We go people like Frost, Coolidge, Ethan Allen and Fisk.
You can include David Ball and John Deere if you want
Ben Affleck attended the University of Vermont.
There's Joe Perry, lead guitarist for Aerosmith
Bob Smith, founder of Alcohol Anonymous.
13 time MLB All-Star Ken Griffey Jr
And the fonder of Burton snow gear, Jake Carpenter.
Think before you say another word
Before you become like the dodo bird.
I don't care who you are or where you're from
Hate on Vermont and you're nothing but scum.
Once you apreciate my home state
This place will increase your heart rate.
Scenic views from Hubbarton, Revolutionary War
Go to Ben & Jerry's Factory tour.
Slide on a Burton Board and ride Killington if you please
Hot Coco at the cabin will put you at ease.
Jump on 89N enjoythe scenery
Enjoy your trip to the Cabot Creamery.
Muenster Cheese by Cabot is a favorite of mine
Lincoln Peak Winery, Vermont's finest wine.
Head to Lake Champlain with your crew
Magic Hat, Harpoon, Otter Creek is a great brew.
Longtrain has the best beer with a spike
While you're sippin, go "take a hike".
After experiencing it all, you'll know whats up
Vermont has the worlds best maple syrup.
Once the pancakes are done, I'm out the door
On my way to the Vermont Country Store.
Where penny candy exist and only made in VT products
Down the road, Okemo Mountain, no views obstruct.
Now that you appreciate my state
There's just one more place that just can't wait.
Located in my home town, small town Proctor
The states largest attractor
Start something new, maybe a habit
At the worlds largest marble exhibit.
