ODE TO WASTED TALENT

Topic:
anguished
|
The pain of what could’ve been
Is irrelevant for the present’s
Bittersweet taste consumes them
Sitting in a synthetic purgatory while
Dominant piers pass by, scars the
Exterior of their permanent flesh
Potential for divine existence
Fades and the crutch of a
Cynical mind generates their existence
Soon reality captures those who
Have ignored the waste of their purpose,
Then and eternity of tears is all that’s left
