selfstruggles

My heart in her hands,
Silver cross on my chest,
Push salt into the wounds,
Love laid to rest.
Bloodied sands,
Emotional unrest,
I see her to soon,
Hate laid to rest.
Mind in pieces,
Speaking with my soul,
Lips are dirtied,
Life to behold.
Thoughts defeated,
I am not whole,
Reason deserted,
Death to behold
Feeble hands,
Beauty is a quest,
No demand,
As we undress.
Both conceited,
I dig a hole,
Compassion completed,
Black as coal.
Love laid to rest,
Life to behold,
Hate laid to rest,
Death to behold.
