I’m living life through my eyes
But my vision is double
These specs weigh heavy on my face
But I don’t want to stumble now
And I’m so self conscious
I may still be half blind
But I see all this nonsense
It’s all around these days
What’s become of me?
Wearing an invisible label
Try as hard as I can
To find love if I’m able to
It’s never good enough
I’m not tall, handsome, big, rich, or even understood enough
Sometimes Im just put off
The world looks me in the eyes just to write me off
And they don’t even know me
I grew to bench 300
In my spare time when I was lonely
I guess all I really ever had was my poetry
