Poor Excuse

This is why I don't commit,
and why my feelings fail to omit.
This is why i'm forced to overcome,
In which I built this thing I've become.
While Everyone could see,
I was too ignorant to believe.
The truth kept behind cold lies,
Forgiving eyes soon will die.
But you convinced me to perceive,
wondering in what I believe.
Fooled by your real true feeling,
knees wore bare, begging n' kneeling.
And i fought to hold back,
for fear of what we may lack.
Packed away, crammed in a bag,
Sacred for no other hands to grab..
If you cared, you would know, i fell flat on a snag,
and was blind to the sight of any red flag.
You'll get what you've earned, wrong or right
You're final decisions cause loss to the fight
You're motives may be no more profound,
Causing pain all around,
Tried to control everything I have found.
You'll live with the cards you delt
and I'll forget what forced my heart to melt,
I'll rid of what you meant,
but your guilt shows how you really felt.
You'll never be a thing,
no more than a pain,
subdued, stuck bare ass, dead in the rain..
You're conscious will drag,
soaks what you dread in a rag.
Pure evil sure to concur,
As your selfish ways may stir,
you broke another mans cure.
Brought in part of a character ,
while you fooled your own narrator.
You claim all you've made is to be pure,
but you're screaming what you really prefer.
You'll trip face first in your space,
see that your hearts dead of pace
and respect you kicked out of the race.
You're heart portrayed that face
but what feelings can't replace,
tore roots straight from our base.
So stay in that role,
n' drown in your hole.
Keep playing games,
You poor excuse for a soul.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
