You strike me with stones,
and flay to the bone,
A quicksilver tongue…
I bleed for your fun,
Your hatred it burns,
My skin starts to churn,
A wretch in your eyes,
Bring me down to your size,
A basal emotion,
This jealous devotion,
A figure to blame,
For the pain and the shame,
You cause in your life,
Self-inflicted strife,
So if you want the cause,
You don’t need to take two,
Go look in the mirror,
You will only see you.

Good stuff m8, keep up the dark piercing social commentary poetry. It needs to be said and pointed out. Someone will listen. Keep pushing for the wrongs to be righted. |
