You strike me with stones,
and flay to the bone,
A quicksilver tongue…
I bleed for your fun,
Your hatred it burns,
My skin starts to churn,
A wretch in your eyes,
Bring me down to your size,
A basal emotion,
This jealous devotion,
A figure to blame,
For the pain and the shame,
You cause in your life,
Self-inflicted strife,
So if you want the cause,
You don’t need to take two,
Go look in the mirror,
You will only see you.

| Good stuff m8, keep up the dark piercing social commentary poetry. It needs to be said and pointed out. Someone will listen. Keep pushing for the wrongs to be righted. |
