The Color of my Love

A calm tingle down my spine
Sensations of peace that feels divine
All else fades to black as eyes shut tight
Colors so pure make darkness become light
Red spiraling fire spitting dragons rise
From deep caverns the lizards fly
Walking barefoot on flame scorched earth
You learn to accept the world you’ve birthed.
The ocean tints orange from a stormy sunset
Setting the fish towards freedom and away from nets
Swaying on a boat I feel the passion
Heaven gives the earth when lightning’s crashing
Yellow rays of sun fuel a new day
Kneeling down the ancient warriors pray
“Give us strength and for the light we’ll smite,
All our foes who’ve lost their way”.
In the forest of our youth so pure and green
Lay two lovers to the eye unseen.
He promises her that the stars will stay bright,
As long as they have her in their sight.
From outer space a watcher sees a planet so blue
Yet the people upon it just haven’t a clue.
The watcher saw so much they couldn’t express,
So they became a speaker to explain the mess.
An infant born with eyes royal blue,
Raised by the sages with all they knew,
Eyes shut tight but seeing he might,
All the world’s problems in clear view
Violet energy surrounds and consumes,
Flowing through all and in all
The truth so hard we begin to fall
But so infinite we learn to crawl.
All these colours they are my love,
Pure of evils that push and shove.
From wronged paths I am free,
For with these colours I’m far from lost,
And capable of becoming, Me.
