Soul

do you have one?

Do you covet it? Or, fear for it on exit?
How do you spend your days?
Are you loud and proud?
Will your glass raise in toast to your offering in life?
Or, are you normal? Selfish and worried for your plight?
scared to stand up for what is right?
Maybe you will cut me down and rebel.
Yes. You announce any rebellious action as if it defines you.
Yeah, right.
Me and you have one thing in common.
Pathetic.

I know my failings will not present themselves to me directly.
I'll deny them anyway.
What do you say?
Are you different?
Probably.
