Every heartbeat is incomplete
Since you have gone away.
I cannot sleep; I sit and weep.
I loathe each passing day.
Night after night my hand does write
The pain I feel within.
My misery, incessantly,
Flows freely from my pen.
Small searing spheres of salty tears
Leave marks upon my face;
Their constant pain drives me insane--
I long for your embrace.
I want so much to feel your touch;
And make sweet love to you.
To have you here holding me near
There's nothing I wont do...
For just one kiss I'd slit my wrists;
I'd sell my mortal soul.
Forget the odds I'd defy Gods
And gladly pay their toll...

I appreciate your comment and words of wisdom Blain, and for anyother person that would be good advice.
I am a happily married woman who is in agony only because her husband is in the US Army National Guard and was sent over seas.
I am not suicidal but I just wanted to express just how much I loved him and missed him...
I just implied extreme actions to hopefully convey just how desperately I miss him and that I would give anything to have him here with me again.

Lol Wrybod! I read your poem and it was funny...
but I am Happily married, my husband is overseas fighting for USA. Though I imply taking drastic actions I would never do it. I value my life, I am quite content.
I just wanted to get across how deep my love is...and how much I miss him....
Thank you for commenting Wrybod :)
