Why can not locate the pain?
It moves from heart to back
It engulfs my entire being
I try so hard to avoid it
It consumes me
Why can I not run from the pain?
It immobilises me
To the point of paranoia
I shake…
I cannot escape
Why do I endure this pain?
Do I secretly enjoy it?
Do I thirst for it?
Do I want you to inflict anguish…?
Why can you not feel my pain?
Because you are the source
You are my machete
My precious inflictor
My beloved tormentor
Cut me!
Cut me wide
Cut me deep
Another immaculate wound
The searing pain in my back
Is REVELATION
The ache in my heart
Is BETRAYAL
Now I know who are
And I will never again….
Be your VICTIM…
