Rising froth in the ocean sea
Such a wonder for me to see
Foaming waves swirling round
Upon the waters homeward bound
Seamen often chart their courses
Waters surge forth like racing horses
Heading toward the finish line
Rushing forward double time
Very peaceful the ocean blue
Grace and beauty for me and you.

Nice imagery.... I know exactly what you mean here as I live very close to the shore myself...and you have described it well....

a nice write. I've been an ocean lover since I was knee high, and you captured a bit of its ambience here. I think I'd have added the scent of ocean spray, the thunder of the waves, the murky color of the water, the feel of it against the skin, or perhaps how the sky reflects off from it. Still, an enjoyable read. Well done. |

This is indeed very fine writing. Evokes all sorts of memories. Highly descriptive and the rhyme is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. |
