Summer Rain

Outside my window clouds are forming in the sky
The heaviness that fills those warm summer breezes
Birds chirping and pecking the ground while others fly
Pollen fills the air as it tickles my nose while causing some sneezes
People rushing to get home before the rain
Winds blowing some towels on a near by clothes line
Music of rain drops tapping on my window pane
It's early , it's only ten past nine
Sounds carried in the distance of a whistle blowing of a train as it makes its' way down the tracks
Lightening flashed across a darkened sky while low clouds hover
Thunder rolled loud and clear back to back
Big drops of rain hit the grounds with a splat
As fast as the rain started it was over
A rain bow of colors across a peaceful sky imagin that

Pretty ^.^ I love the rain, once I saw a double rainbow from my backyard, but of course I couldn't find the camera =( But I like your poem =D It reminded me of that moment
