I Will Go

Contributed by thebadguy9999 on Saturday, 9th April 2011 @ 07:45:29 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

Send me to the battle front,I will gladly go.
Even if I bring to you a solitaire lost soul.
Serving my creator is worth more than life to me.
I want to bring you to my Jesus so you can be set free.
How did i get here is a question you might ask.
I said send me Father and he assigned this task.
I am not a talker,I am quiet and reserved.
My weakness is his strength,to bring him glory much deserved.
I am in my Father's will,Lord I'll do anything you say.
I will say what you want said,Jesus just guide the way.
I once walked in darkness, full of hate and anger.
I was doomed to Hell,my soul was in great danger.
What can I offer you Lord,Why would you call me?
Satan has me blinded, through my sin I cannot see.
At times i hear you calling, your Holy Spirit does condemn.
But how ever can i serve you,i live a life so dark and grim.
Jesus said, just give it to me,you are still within my hand.
I will clean your life, make you strong so you can stand.
Lord forgive my sin, wash me clean,as white as snow.
I will do all that you ask,Father send me,I will gladly go.
This is where God put me,to serve him and make my stand.
My new life has not been easy but to call him Father is so grand.
Jesus is still looking saying Father who can I send.
Some will bow down willingly but we all will in the end.
All will call him Lord,To him all knees shall bow.
Even satan will bow down,God will show him how.
Stand up for our Jesus, raise your hand and say I'll go.
Be baptized in his Spirit, washed in that crimson flow.

This is the story of how those who are saved start out and finish their life. As said in the book, Pilgrim's Progress, we all start out in the City of Destruction and are making our journey to the Celestial City. May God lead your way through your Journey/ Daily walk with Christ and have you be a light to the world.
