All I ask of you,
Is to look beyond this girl you see
And look in my heart and grab my soul
And maybe, just maybe,
You’ll like me for me.
And when you find that girl inside
Please don’t make me have to hide.
Please just like me for me
And look beyond this girl you see.
So many people don’t let me be
They think I’m not normal
But it’s only me.
I’m kind,
And sweet,
And funny,
And smart,
And if you look in my soul,
You’ll find a big heart.
So all I ask of you
Is to look beyond this girl you see
And look in my heart
And grab my soul
And maybe,
Just maybe,
You’ll get to know
ME.
