Dear Lord

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Thursday, 7th April 2011 @ 03:31:12 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Dear Lord wouldn't be simper to be as Eve
Having only one soul mate to choose from
Adam was her everything and she in return was his
The two had shared their own love story
One that was recorded for the world to see

If only I were lucky enough to be in such a situation
For i have come to a fork in the road and am indecisive
Would one rather a mature dream or a loving yet foolish reality
The disposition of my two desires are entirely different
And although I have a lover that treats me well
They all say that I can do better

Dear Lord help me to choose the One for me
For it is something I cannot accomplish on my own
I am lost in the game of love and don't know where to turn
If I tell him i love him yet cannot promise him my all
Am I betraying a best friend
Indeed I would say so but I'll leave this situation
In your Loving and Holy Hands

Beautiful! It shows the longing for the right one, and the obedience of a woman to find the right someone. Prayer changes things, and he will give us the desires of our hearts if we trust and believe!!So many times as women, we want to do it on our own, but it is not our will, but God's will. Amazing!! I Loved it!!!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
