It has been raining for the past few days.
The world around this city seems ever so miserable.
She only meets the rain with disdain.
No amount of sunshine in the eyes of the clouds.
Little amount of people outside walk around.
She decides she needs something from the store, and gets out of her brown wooden chair.
Golden butterfly clip in her light black hair.
She spots me, and waves at me, in the hallway we share.
She stops the small wave with a small smile, says she going out for bread.
I spot a frown when she slightly turns her head.
She says she looks a mess under her breath, but enough I can hear it.
But I cannot figure out why.
When she reaches one foot outside her house, she spots a puddle.
As if the water had given her attitude much muddle.
She looks at the puddle, and grimly looks away.
The reflection of it catches her anger and she points her eyes away.
But when I look at the puddle, and it's reflection, all I see was how beautiful the world and people could really be.
Even she.
I smile and watch her walk away.
In the rain.

beautifully done. The first decent read I've had today.
perhaps you ought to have gone to the shop on her behalf and she wouldn't be so annoyed.
