Pray for Japan!

All the wonderful flashy lights
A place I can say that's an asbsolute high
With a thousand people wondering around
Seeing such art out of men, you sure cannot frown
Buildings so tall it touches the sky
If I climb up top I swear I could fly
I can be everything in this beautiful place, I can
I love this place, I love Japan

Now I feel something coming
Underground, it feels like a bombing
All the people around me are running
I can hear them all sobbing
The buildings sway side to side
I can only imagine the fear in peoples' eyes
I look around, feeling numb, then a sigh
In this place, I dreamt of flying high
Once, I knew in this beautiful place, I can
Don't give up on us, not now, Dear Japan

There's no one walking down the Street
People cry, awake or asleep
Sadly, it's all gone
But still the tragic isn't done
This isn't the last day we'll see the dark
This isn't the last time we'll feel a pain so sharp
With all the tears that was wept
With all the homes that were swept
Just always think It Is Impossible For This To Be The End

Even though this experience is terrible
Even if this scene is unbearable
Always dream of another day
One that's better than today
Think of something bright
Thoughts on how to make things right
Another chance in life has begun
Put on a smile because the sun always rises in Japan

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
