The Curse

Break me of this alleged curse,
But leave me here to die,
I am reaching for the enlongated rope,
Which seems to leave the sky.
I'm dropping down farther into the hole,
Which is pitch black and deadly,
My voice is screeching for help in your name,
But turns into an oblivious and harmonious medly.
This medly of which I speak about,
Is not beautiful and pure,
It's the song of which I am infected,
And I'm trying to find a cure.
I'm killed through the eye of which you don't look,
But turn your head if you dare,
All you'll find is my breaking heart,
Which then turns into a glare.
What happens next is not my choice,
But choose me to forget,
I'll try my eye just one more time,
But this, unfortunately, I'll regret.
