Do you know drugs?
Have your friends ever died?
Then you know drugs
When you need them to survive
Everyday routine
Like living in a marriage
Try to keep it all together
Till there's nothing more left than damage
I'm just a stinkin addict
And I'm proud enough to admit it
A few pills, couple of beers and a toke of weed
Is what is needed to make the pain flee
Can you see, what is the deal?
Can you see, how this is real?
Love your life - live the pain
Seek the depths of truth from the black rain
Drag the waters all day
Maybe someday you'll learn from the mistakes you've made

| Powerful!! It's sad because many people who are addicts, won't admit. It doesn't have to be drugs and alcohol to be an addiction, you dig!!! If you don't know, you won't grow. Great write. I truly enjoyed it. |
