Silky, bronze, cocoa brown
chocolate, cool, best all around
jazzy, fresh, worthy of the crown
The skin I'm in, the skin I'm in
deep, dark, midnight's glow
gleaming, shining light will grow
knowing, honoring, not afraid to show
The skin I'm in. the skin I'm in
My hertiage, my family, my neighborhood
my teachers, my preachers, my sisterhood
my prayers, your mercy, you've been so good

yep. Skin sure is under rated these days.
