Imagination

Topic: MiscPoems

Your imagination can run wild and free
Though my imaginations is what makes me

A simple thought seems to lead to a story
About happiness sadness riches and glory

Doesn't matter what the thought may be
It leads me to another mystery

Though what will I do in my next escapade
With my thoughts in my mind starting to fade

What would happen if I forgot it all
Would my life end or would I stand tall

As I grow older my mind becomes ill
Imagination faded with no time to sit still

My life goes on but less happiness is seen
Were did it all go since i was a teen

Is it all a part of growing old
Does your imagination grow ill and cold

Do you loose it all at the end
Something I will never comprehend

So stay young in you heart and you will find
You will allways have happiness in your mind

Staying young! Hummm, how to do that?
I know! Have grandkids! Thank God for that.
They keep my mind young even though my body
is wasting away!
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns (Rob)
