A time of closed doors,
of blind witnesses, and empty corridors.
The pale blue wings of time
glide gracefully over my solitude
shattering the veil of silence,
of your silence, of my scream...
As you let the sun gaze into your eyes
and grow conscious, dawn is over,
I will become an enclave of the past hours,
as the night`s eternity, and my innocence,
are usurped by daylight.

This piece is stunning. Everything about it is intriguing. Each line is incredibly sharp and it just goes taking the reader for a ride that is full of possibility. A fantastic piece of writing that stands on its own. |
