Did we take a wrong turn
How did we get here
In a hundred years
Will somebody
Sift though our ashes
And find only
Teardrops, pain , despair
The rich are still there
The poor still crumbling
Babies still crying
With no food to eat
Hate still reigns
We kill each other
In the name of religion
Can we still heal our pain
Can we hold up our heads
And say today I have done something good
Even though it's the first time
In a long long while
Our planet is burning
And no one gives a …….
