And The Blood ,,,,,,,Streaming From His Face

The main street is quite
As James Applon
Rides into town
A Few faces stares at him
Running around
They know when trouble is about to start

He stops in front of the saloon
Ties he's horse
Give her water to drink
Pat her on the head
And whisper something
She doesn't understand

He opens the door
About 20 men
With blank faces
And cold looks stares at him

Henry Miller he shouts
Henry looks up
Before he could say a thing
He's head
Bopping back
With a bullet
Straight through it
Just looks like he's gone to sleep
But for the blood streaming
From he's face

James turns around
Starts walking
Then a single shot rings out
He fall over on his knees
Until he's skull crushes
Against the floor

Standing over hin
Maria Applon
Gun in her hand
She spits at him
Shouts out words
Only he could understand

Maria Applon
On the floor
A Glazy stare
She coudn't live without him
She did the right thing
She thought
Or did she
Who will ever know

Love Triangles,,,,,,,,very seldom ends in a good way

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
