A New Creed

Contributed by Smithery on Tuesday, 22nd March 2011 @ 02:00:11 PM in AEST
Topic: political

Spawned from derision and scorn A new creed is born,
Religion rejected, leaders elected with oaths neglected, men who should be jailed corrupted and failed,

one voice to command our leaders to listen and understand this is our primary demand,
one conscience clearly defined a new social contract we have in mind,

There’s No fraud we will accept, corruption or theft, no violence nor war, this is our mind, delve deeper and you find good reason not faith,

Poverty, injustice, famine and disease, no more if you please,
No atomic future without sorrow, the risk to great for our children to regret,

people around the world right now, on Facebook, twitter, the buzz is bitter,
Greedy Billionaire bankers, crooks & lawyers practice to deceive,

2000 year old script twisted to incite murder and hate, mullahs, priests, rabbis, ministers exist to divide us,
The rich get richer, poverty, despair, this injustice is not fair,

Our population grows our resources get scarcer,

Fanaticism, racism, sectarianism,

They whisper in your ear division and fear,
He’s black, He’s white, He’s left He’s right,
Christian, Muslim, Jew, tell me young man witch one are you?
I’m sure you wont like the others, let me tell you some lies so you will fear and despise,

They sell Guns for protection, pills for infection, a home for security, a wall for defence all we can offer you know it makes sense,
Bombs and bullets we buy and pile them high, its the only way to keep the evil at bay they say, we slave now our children slave later we kill now our children die later

A global awakening a collective conscience the people will not stand for anymore nonsense.
we demand action, not oil or blood, food for the starving, medicine for the sick, a roof for the homeless,

Where are all the great thinkers the bastions of virtue,

Darwin said its natural selection, the way we are bred that makes us compete till we bleed,

But do we have to bleed on the alter of greed, is it wrong to want more? YES when you already have to much, it then becomes greed and deprives many others! We are all brothers and sister fathers and mothers.

The age of innocence is dead, the age justice is upon us and judgment day may be closer than we think, Like me, like you I am selfish to the core but I’m sick of this way our leaders once elected seem to rise above us, there must be better we don’t need leaders we need servants true democrats to do our will.

Can you feel it in the air? An invisible connection a social network almost perfection.

Our bandwidth who art in cyber space hallowed be thy social network communication tools .
Give us this day our daily web access and lead us not into malware,
And deliver us from virus attack poverty and injustice.

Tempt us not into deficit or recession,
And forgive us our surfing as we forgive others

Let us vote debate and argue

This is our time

The flowering of a generation the dawn of global human hive awareness.....have we finally found

Global Online Democracy
