Knowledge - The key to wisdom

So fragile and tender, our virtues... eroding,
Like crumbling sand, upon the waves we are floating,
The fabric of life… it pitches and sways,
A lumbering craft, on the sea of today,
The search for true love… a noble ambition,
Stolen from many by greed and attrition,
We search all our lives, for what we don’t need,
And then we refuse to plant a new seed,
Of knowledge and truth, to educate youth,
And slowly we find… that they become blind,
Some see only pleasure, unaware of the world,
And without awareness… disaster unfurls.

Full of sense and I really like the message. Hope is comung to an end thriugh our own invaluable and value-less society. It's the kids I feel sorry for too. |
