A Sick Bird

Contributed by iodinelove on Saturday, 19th March 2011 @ 11:45:59 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Crumbled paper
Dream
Remember me

In love
The world is
A sick bird
Lifted up
In human hands

Left alone
I see the palliation
Of love
In lips I cannot touch
In hands I cannot hold

Fear surrounds me
A dark coagulate
Shadows find me
Weak, uninspired

The world is a sick bird
I am the sky held from it
By hands too heavy to fly
Too strong to understand

Very well written. This is so readable, a free flowing piece that leaves the reader wanting more.

Good morning Abe,
It's morning for me today, (2:30 P.M.)
Great writing as always.
I've been missing you.
Big huggs, smiles, emy
You are certainly right, this Planet is a sick bird.

I have to admit that I am not exactly sure what this is about but I know that I like it. I don't always concern myself with fully understanding poetry. Sometimes I just go with the flow of it and enjoy. I enjoyed this. Seemed dark, sad, and wanting. Conjured a lot of cool images.

Thanks,

Tim

Beautiful. I love poems that spare useless words and allow me to paint the picture. True, it flows well...a slideshow in my mind hat I can feel. I like it alot. Thanks for sharing
