The rain falls
But you ignore it all
To you the weather is sunny and bright
To me I feel like the rain will never subside
I want to go back to the days when my frown was a smile
When you would grab me by my waist and hold me tight
When you would make me feel like I was the only girl your eyes were glued to
When you would get jealous when you saw me with other guys
When for hours we could stare into each others eyes
And I would feel the heat radiate off your body and past through mines
When we would fall asleep on the phone together and I would wake up to your snore
My how things have changed
Now I feel like every day my tears are just wasted on you.

Nice work, moving but sad.
If we could preserve some things forever, that would indeed be a miracle.
