This Is My Life

Contributed by JohnnyFallen on Monday, 14th March 2011 @ 08:37:11 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Violins and guitars
Earth and Mars

I am not a drinker, I am not a smoker
I am not an outgoing individual either
I am a loner
I am sometimes optimistic, but for the most part I am a pessimist.
I have a positive attitude, but think of negative outcomes
I love the darkness, but hate the sadness

Ichigo Kurosaki
Zaraki Kenpaichi

This is my life
People try to change me
They never understand that I am happy with my personality
Always saying it is a bad thing, telling me it is wrong

Esta es mi vida
Voy a vivir de la manera que estimen conveniente
Voy a vivir, y morir con él

They say I am boring
They ask me what I do in my spare time
Since I hate both parties and clubs alike
I'd rather write a poem, draw a picture, practice on my guitar, or walk around in the woods

Third Reich
Reichenmeich

They laugh at my preferred activities
So I feel little, so I feel useless
Then I think to myself all of that is what makes me so unique
That is what makes different from everyone else
This is my life
I am not liberal
I am not political
Who cares what anyone else thinks
I love my mother
I love my father
And I will regret and learn from my mistakes that I make
And I will forget some memories when I'm older
This is my life
Please do not change who I am
Pray to God that I do not change who I am

Very interesting way of writing. I like your strong sense of confidence in who you are.

Great Job! I love how you express you life in words and how you will not have your life changed.

I loved this! You sound like me. I'm a loner too,
and I much prefer a notebook/pen or a piano to
parties/bars.

Actually, this somewhat reminds me of something
I've written called: "Who am I?"

Anyways, great write and thanks for the comment.

It can be hard at times to have confidence that there is a reason why we are the way we are while in a world that trys to tell us what to think, feel, do, and be everyday. But you are right, all of those things is what makes us each unique and that is a beautiful thing. Great work and great attitude !
