t'was a warm summer's night
lit up by bright street lights
a cool breeze flowed from the ocean
setting my thoughts in motion
the moon shone from the sky
idyllic palms standing by
a scene so serene and neat
disturbed by ruffling of sheets
i turn my head to the sound
and witness a sight so profound
peeking through crumpled cover
is my lovely lady lover
with the soft cotton confined
is her softer skin intertwined
like dew on a flower petal
beads of sweat on her back settle
her perfume is strong and sweet
like an invitation so discreet
which i accept and move closer
my thoughts become hoarser
i gaze into her poetic eyes
know what that look implies
i whisper on the those little beads
wonder where this might lead.....
