what you mean to me

Light sparks that fire the furnace of a virgin star.
That's what you are.
The wind that blows the coppered leaves from off the trees.
That's how you please.
The force that pulls the waves of sea upon the shore.
You're so much more.
All the wonders seen, but they don't mean a bean,
when compared to what you mean to me.
The road that joins a thousand roads, onward towards.
I'd walk to you.
The sea that shifts and shapes, and sprays through tempest's rage.
I'd row on through.
The peaks of granite, wrapped in ice, a skyward slice.
I'd climb them too
if after my journey, there'd be a you and me,
in harmony.
That's what you mean to me.
The sun that scorched the virgin leaves from off the trees.
A spoiled expression.
Seismic gravity that shook the sea, through jealousy.
Fed my obsession
The road I sped down drunkenly, you tried to leave.
You're my possession.
Tortured by the dream. My love, it's lost it's sheen
and we now disagree
on what you mean to me.
