The Storm

Contributed by butter on Tuesday, 8th March 2011 @ 12:10:08 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

A storm rages across the mighty sea, it hits and water swallows up the land; people run out of their homes scared, most can do nothing but stand. Man, Woman, and child, the storm knows no age of who it takes today; people scream in pain as loved ones drown, all walks of life die, there was no mayday. Some try to hide, some run up to the roof top; the waters were rising, and was likely never to stop. After the floodwaters go down, The bodies, the ruins of everything far as you could see; you look at the ocean it seems so peaceful and quite you wonder “How could this be”. Just a few weeks ago there were people, homes, and buildings of all kinds; now there is nothing but rubble and death it blows your mind. The water that was so peaceful, so beautiful it can make you sigh; can change so quickly to ugly and deadly at the blink of an eye. by butter 3/7/ 2011

nature is the most deadly force of them all. Even man has not quite yet exceeded her.
