Laci & Connor

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 24th April 2003 @ 08:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Laci Peterson,mother to be,
gone with out a trace,
On the day of Christmas eve,

8 months pregnent,with a son,
Connor was to be his name,
searching till the setting of the sun,
Not knowing whos to blame,

After months of prayers and hope,
bodies were soon found,
the families trying to cope,
her husband is tracted down,

Two bodies washed along the California shore,
that of Connor,and Laci,
their precious life was no more,
this was a horrible tragedy,

Her husband to be a suspect,
of this tragic crime,
hes the one they expect,
who should be doing time,

She never had a chance to fight,
to help herself,or her son,
vanished,gone out of sight,
now justice will be done,

Laci,Laci mother to be,
their lives are now gone,
but their souls are now set free,
for the police to find what went wrong,

In the hands of God above,
their bodies will finally be put to rest,
shes able to give Conner the love,
that a mother knows best,

craddleing him in heaven today,
for that chance she never got,
No one,can take that away,
not even the killer, whos been caught!

What a tragic thing to happen to that woman and unborn child. You captured my feelings exactly in this poem. Its heart felt and beautiful. (Pray with me for Amber, that she will return too us) no word on her still. Blessings and love.
Michelle

christina, this is a beautiful tribute to them, written in dignity about a tragic crime, these lines are so moving,"shes able to give Conner the love, that a mother knows best,"
